In den Tiefen der versunkenen Städte, durch Infernal Hollow hindurch, verweilt Buki'vakt the Corrupt und bringt Verderben in die umliegenden Meere. Als Lion von dieser Macht erfuhr, machte er sich auf den Weg, um Teile seiner Macht an sich zu reißen. Nach einem unermüdlichen Kampf besiegte er Buki'vakt und erhielt seine Hand als Trophäe, allerdings nicht ohne Preis. Er wurde besessen von der Malignant Corruption, welche Splitter aus Obsidian aus seinem Körper wachsen ließ, die ihn noch weiter entstellten, bis er kaum noch ein Schatten seines ehemaligen Selbst war.
